The movie "How to Get More Hourglasses in Mystic Messenger" is a fun film that shows what could be possible in a future with binaural meditation. Though the main character, played by Jason Dohring, loses his voice in the end, you can at least recognize his plea for help from a spirit guide. I won't spoil it for you, but I will tell you that it adds a nice touch of reality to the story line. If you have ever thought about meditation and binaural beats, then you should really check out this movie.

 

In the book, titled "how to get more hourglasses in mystic messenger", Dohring describes the steps to be taken when using binaural beats for meditation. These binaural beats are created with special CDs that are designed to train your brainwaves to focus. When doing so, your mind becomes susceptible to different kinds of suggestions. This is where the whole "secret meeting" takes place. The author talks about how this works in the movie.

 

The first thing that happens when Dohring gets the hang of the binaural beats is that he starts getting contacted by the characters in the movie. He realizes that they are trying to contact him because they are wondering why he has not told them about this secret meeting. The binaural beats seem to pick up his attention and he begins to make out what is coming next. It is not until one of the characters, played by James Woods, comes to him in the coffee shop that he realizes what is going on.

According to the plot summary, Dohring is being followed by two men, one is a federal agent sent to undercover spy assignments and the other is a jeweler who is being run over by a car bomb. Apparently, the jeweler has been short changed and is desperate to get his hands on one of America's most wanted terrorists. Dohring has to find out why this man wants to meet with terrorists. With the help of the other characters from the movie such as David Strathairn, Matthew McConaughey, and Kurt Russell, Dohring finally discovers who the mystery man is. However, things do not go so well because he gets shot and killed during the course of the whole episode.

The question on how to get more hourglass in Mystic Messenger is answered when Dohring stumbles into a nightclub where a mystic named Ariel accidentally knocks him out with her music. He recovers in the hospital only to discover that he has amnesia. Ariel is his perfect match, since he remembers every detail of his past life. However, he decides that he will have to reset his life so he can go back to the future and change it to prevent the same thing from happening again. The two become good friends and help each other with their problems in life.

How to get more hourglass in Mystic Messenger also stars David Strathairn as David who is a federal agent sent to undercover spy assignments. In one of his assignments he goes to a strip bar where a group of terrorists are having an argument over a woman. The bartender tells them that they are not allowed to touch the woman and when they do, they get more hourglass. David then goes on to save the woman and the rest of the terrorists are taken out by a bullet. In the end, they are all killed when a car bomb that was meant to kill them goes off prematurely.

The next episode involves David working at a research facility for the government. There he meets Devon who is a time traveler trying to get a bag of heroin from an arms dealer. She also has some binaural beats recordings she wants to sell. At first, David tries to talk her into using them but she tells him that they don't work that way. They part on bad terms and as a result, she gives him her tapes.

 

So How to Get More Hourglass in Mystic Messenger continues the story where it left off. David is trying to fix things in his life. When he finds out that the women he had helped in his past are time travelers, things start going bad for him. He starts getting paranoid and thinks that everyone around him has secrets. He ends up running out of the facility and comes across Devon in the present.
