The Handheld Learning 2008 Conference was the largest of its kind bringing together over 1,000 of the world’s leading opinion formers, thought leaders, practitioners, education leaders, developers, policy and decision makers to demonstrate, debate and explore how these technologies can be employed to enable transformational improvements in learning.
This site is now part of the digital proceedings from the event. "Innovation in Learning and Teaching Practice" . This years conference successfully examined the convergence between consumer electronics, entertainment software, educational technology and learning. The event staged an excellent mix of inspirational presentations from leading thinkers and practitioners, lively interactive debates, learners and practitioners showcases, special interest breakouts, networking and social sessions, plus an exhibition featuring the principle industry leaders.
